The Material Difference and Selection of Sealless Magnetic Drive Pumps

Kung Hai Enterprise's sealless magnetic pumps can be provided in three different materials and forms, including engineering plastic magnetic pumps, metal stainless steel magnetic pumps and lined magnetic pumps.

The three have their own characteristics and application ranges based on the material adaptability, concentration, temperature and pressure of chemical fluids.

Engineering plastic magnetic pumps are mainly made of GFR-PP and CFR-ETFE. Engineering plastic magnetic pumps are acid, alkal, and corrosion resistant. They are often used in the chemical industry, electronics industry, wastewater treatment industry and surface treatment industry.

Most metal magnetic pumps are made of stainless steel, alloy or carbon steel, among which stainless steel is the most widely used material because of its good corrosion resistance. The characteristics of metal magnetic pumps are solid structure and good heat resistance, excellent durability and long service life. Widely used in high temperature, high pressure or solvent chemical fluid transportation.

The lined magnetic pump uses Teflon material to cover the internal liquid-contacting part of the metal, so that the chemical fluid will only come into contact with the Teflon material, so there is no need to worry about the fluid corroding the metal. The material provides high-purity ETFE and PFA available. It can be effectively used in processes that transport highly corrosive, strong acid and alkali or fluid cleanliness requirements. It is often used in industries such as pickling, electroplating, semiconductor, TFT-LCD, circuit boards and sewage treatment.
