Flow channel

Fluid A enters the device from the center and flows from the inside to the outside along the spiral channel. On the other hand, fluid B enters the upper inlet and flows along the peripheral spiral channel toward the center. Two fluids flow in opposite directions.

Spiral flow channels are prone to turbulence. By selecting the most suitable spiral channel, the optimal flow rate can be set to achieve the highest heat transfer efficiency.

The spiral heat exchanger has a self-cleaning function due to the single flow channel and the centrifugal movement of the fluid, which makes it difficult for the fluid with impurities (solids) to remain. When solid particles block the flow channel, the flow speed will become faster because the cross-section becomes smaller. Produces different pressure effects to push out the blocked parts in an advanced manner. The self-cleaning function can extend the cleaning and maintenance downtime of the product.

The heat exchange efficiency of the spiral heat exchanger is better than that of the traditional shell and tube heat exchanger, so the overall volume can be smaller than the shell and tube heat exchanger and the plant space can be saved. Minimal downtime (cleaning and maintenance). By removing the end cover, you can directly visually inspect the flow channel and inspect the condition. The maintenance cost is much lower than the cost of other heat exchangers.

Note: Before opening the end cover, the pressure on both sides needs to be completely released. Otherwise, it may cause injury to the operator or damage to the heat exchanger.
